How do I get rid of the pitting on my glass/mirrored cocktail table?

The table is in the shape of a grand piano. The keys of the table are starting to tarnish/pitt. They have brown spots in between the keys. I called a glass store but they didn't have any advice for me.

Thanks! How do I get rid of the pitting on my glass/mirrored cocktail table?
ah hah! - the pitting is on the mirror back right?? ok

that is called ';black rot'; in the industry- it is from the ammonia in windex. everyone loves to clean mirror wit windex but thing is it corrodes and eats away the metal backing that makes it reflect- once this happens there is nothing to do other than replace the mirror

AND STOP CLEANING WITH WINDEX- although windex does make a NON-AMMONIA formula

- at my studio we use 1 part rubbing alcohol to 4 parts distilled waterHow do I get rid of the pitting on my glass/mirrored cocktail table?
Try a stained glass specialist they may be able to give you some advice
there are windsheild repair people out there, I wonder if they could help?
