How do I change inches into Tea spoons or table spoons?

I am making a recipe which calls for 1 1/2 inches of Ginger Cube then grated.

But we bought the kind thats already grated, the powdery kind. But we dont know how much to put, since we cant measure it into cups since they arent cubed. So how many in teaspoons or table spoons would 1 1/2 inches be?How do I change inches into Tea spoons or table spoons?
You cannot convert length into volume. It isn't possible. Recipes call for things to be measured in weight, volume, temperature, time and length. None of these forms of measurement are interchangeable. You'll just have to guess. Sorry. How do I change inches into Tea spoons or table spoons?
Carefully. Yes. She's answering your inital question: How do you change....tablespoons? Carefully. Yep.

Anyway, it all depends on how thick a ginger cube is. If it's as thick as your little finger, 1.5'; is likely about a teaspoon or so. If it's as thick as your thumb, use a couple of teaspoons.
CAREFULLY.
just spread it out formed into an inch and a half
