I'm looking for a table to hold two fish tanks. A few shops have coffee tables, sideboards and TV stands that are the perfect height and width, but all will hold a maximum weight of between 50 and 70kg, whereas I need it to hold 200kg.
Is there a way to calculate whether the table will hold the additional weight, or is it trial and error? Also, could such a table be reinforced to support the additional weight, and if so, how?What is the maximum weight a table can hold?

the safe way is to go for a metal table, or you can have a custom made wooden table but you have to tell the master carpenter what weight you should carry on it and he will be able to put good materials for it.
