What is the best way to have a table rotate lenghtwise?

I am trying to build a table that flips lengthwise so there can be a poker table side and then on the other side it would be finished like a dinning room table. My only problem is how to make it rotate. Im thinking of drilling a hole in each end of the plywood and inserting a rod of some kind so that it can be rotated easily. Do you have any other ideas? What is the best way to have a table rotate lenghtwise?
How about sides that fold down to reveal one surface, and fold up for the other? Instead of folding up to make a bigger table, it would fold ALL the way up to cover the other surface.
