I heard of people setting up a table at conventions like anime north to sell their art prints. But how do you set up a table? Do you have to call someone and book a spot to place your table? Also how do you print your art out, do you like just print using a normal printer using regular printer paper or do you have to go to a store and order them to print using different kinds of paper? I would like to know because in a few more years i might be planning to set up a table. ;DHow do you set up a table to sell art prints?
Most of the bigger conventions have a website. You can find out who to contact and how much a space for a table would cost. But, you need to do this months ahead of time. It may also be very expensive if the convention is popular. You could consider buying a space with a group of artists and sharing the table.
As for printing, ideally you want to use archival paper and ink. This will be expensive though. You can buy higher quality paper or photopaper that will work with a regular inkjet printer, but you shouldn't charge as much for these prints. You never use regular printer paper, nobody is going to want to buy that. How do you set up a table to sell art prints?
