How do I get Milo back to eating table food?

Recently I took on a month of extra hours at work. I left my Rat Terrier with my mom while at work. My mother started feeding him table food instead of his dog food as rewards. Now that he's home he wont eat his dog food, and he begs for my food. He seems to be starving himself. How do I get him used to his dog food again?How do I get Milo back to eating table food?
My Pit Bull refused to eat her food but we didn't give her table food. I talked with her vet and followed exactly what she said. I had specific eat times for her and put down her bowl. She had 5 minutes to eat. After the 5 minutes i picked up the bowl. I did the same thing the next feeding time. After two days, she got the point and eat up her food within the set time. She still does. As a special treat, she may get some vegs but maybe once a month.How do I get Milo back to eating table food?
I agree with ';Mommy pit'; but I wouldn't do 5 min. I do 15 min. and U R the top dog so u control when and what she eats! My pit bull does the same thing she thinks she is a princess

just dont give him any table food. Put his food down ..if he doesnt touch it within five minutes..remove it and place it down later..until he gets the hint it will not always be there for him. GOOD LUCK
My dog did the same thing. If you just leave his food out and stop giving him table food and ignore his begging, soon he should give up and eat his food.
Be tough. A dog will rarely actually starve himself. It is far better to keep your dog on the same diet, as table food can often cause illnesses such as pancreatitis.

Leave his food down for 30minutes, if he doesn't eat, pick it up and offer it later in the day. He will eventually eat. If you cave now, you may not get him back to his normal diet.
feed 80% table food then 20% dog food.

then gradually increase dog food until your terrier will get used to eating dog food only.
