It is a three legged table with detailing on the legs, and a veneered top. It is not an antique piece, and is of little value. I want to paint it a glossy white to achieve a plastic gloss finish. Not sure how to prime, especially the mouldings - I won't get into all the crevices with sandpaper. How to paint a veneered table with lots of twirly moulded detail in a glossy white duco?
if you use a scotch pad, basicslly a abrasive washing scourer to key the surface first, then a light coat of primer, you are much better of using an aerosol rather then a brush, you get a much nicer finish, and no runs of all the intricate mouldings..How to paint a veneered table with lots of twirly moulded detail in a glossy white duco?
Wipe down well with a cleaning solvent, spray paint to access all crevasses.
