I have the same issue with my marble top coffee table. The problem is that it was not sealed properly. All I can suggest is that you remove the marks as best you can and them seal the marble before there's any more damage. I used a Mr.MagicEraser on my table and it removed some of the stains, but not all. Good luck.How do you properly clean a marble table top?

Mix flour with hydrogen peroxide until you have a thick paste. Apply the paste to the stain and cover it with plastic wrap and tape it in place so there is no air getting in to dry it out. Leave the poultice for 24-48 hours, then remove the plastic, allowing the paste to harden. Scrape the paste away with a blunt edge and wipe with a soft clean damp cloth. This type of poultice is the most effective on organic stains such as coffee and tea.
Step 2:
Soak cotton balls in acetone, enough to cover the stain, and place them on top of the stain. Cover the cotton balls in plastic wrap and tape it in place so as not to let them dry out. Allow the poultice to sit for 12 to 24 hours, then remove it. Wipe the area clean with a soft clean damp cloth. This works for ink stains.
Step 3:
Mix mineral spirits and flour into a very thick paste. Apply it to the stain and cover it with plastic wrap. Tape the plastic down, then remove it in 24 to 48 hours. Allow the paste to harden before scraping it away with a plastic scraper. Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth. This is the best way to remove paint stains.
Step 4:
Soak gauze pads in ammonia and set them on the stain covered with plastic wrap. Tape the edges down and leave the poultice to sit for 24 to 48 hours. Remove the poultice and wipe the area with a clean damp cloth. This works on oil stains. ';
Marble is tricky to clean, but not impossible. Think poultice.
you can use some marble polish that you can get at like home depot or granite polish they usually work for either. or you can use some Windex
mix turps with some water and wash, then polish with a soft cloth.
