I left a hot pizza box on a wooden table for over an hour. There is now a white stain left on it that won't come off.How to get stain off of wooden table?
There are lots of solutions. I just repaired one of these yesterday and they are generally pretty easy if you have the right technique. I don't think there's ever been a time that I have not gotten one out WAY short of stripping and refinishing. A few years ago a customer said the furniture store wanted to take a table back to strip and refinish. the answer depends on the type of wood and the plastic coating that may have been put over the wood. contact the furniture store where you purchased the table for advice, cover it with a tablecloth, or sand it down and refinish the table.
Hi, my old trick to get a white stain off genuine wood is to take an aerosol can polish (a good one ) and spray a concentated amount on to the stain only try not to put it on to the undamaged wood, leave it for two hours then polish as usual.
