I have a healthy cockatiel. He is on a pelleted diet, and occasionally gets treats, fruits, and veggies. My question is, how much table foods should he have a day? My vet said one small amount of table food a day. Such as one day he gets broccoli, the next a carrot etc. Is this a good recommendation? Personally I think you can give more than that . Raw is better than cooked. No salt is best. Many people give their birds mixed veggies and fruit everyday. Keep a sprig or bloom of fresh broccoli in his cage daily. The carrot is good too, raw, alternating with different mixed vegetables - fresh or thawed-from-frozen. Remove dried or stale food, just as regularly as you add it. I believe that various melons would make good treats, and are good for digestion. I can not verify or refute the offering of carbs or bread, but might give a little bran muffin - northing too sugary. Fruits will have natural sugar, and carbs convert to sugar already.

How do Import a table in a Matlab file to excel with letters?
Hey, I am trying to import a table in a Matlab file to excel. I found out how to by using the function ';xlswrite';, but when you have letters in the table from Matlab, it wont work in excel. 1. Save the matlab file as a plain text file.
2. Open it in Excel.
3. Excel will ask you whether you want to open it in a fixed width or tab delmited format. Select fixed width.
4. The wizard will then ask you to place column dividers across the data. Place those in the right locations and boom you have a table in Excel.
The above only applies if you are talking about using a table formatted within a ';.m'; file. good luck...

I'm looking for a table to hold two fish tanks. A few shops have coffee tables, sideboards and TV stands that are the perfect height and width, but all will hold a maximum weight of between 50 and 70kg, whereas I need it to hold 200kg.

get a bottle of Goo Gone...you can find it at hardware stores and places like home depot...i got mine right by the cashier line there...it works well
I had that happen one time too. I just mixed up some hot soapy water and a mild cleaner in the sink and used a dish rag to wipe it away. It didnt just wipe off in one swipe, had to work at it but it did work. Assuming this is a hardwood table, be careful what you use, you might take off the finish, if unsure, test a small area underneath. Also, i used furniture polish right after to recondition the wood.
